Curriculum

Committed to the total education of the whole child, firmly rooted in the principles of our Catholic faith since 1879, the Immaculate Conception School offers academic excellence in grades K1 through 8.

Kindergarten through 8th Grade

K1

In the ICS K1 program, the focus is on the whole child. The intent is to foster children intellectually, socially, spiritually, psychologically, physically, and emotionally.

Applicants must be four years of age as of September 1st of that year.

KII

The ICS KII program is a continuation on the focus of the whole child. Students learn to grow in the structure of a routine, yet are allowed time for self-expression. Academics, socialization, and growth in faith are all nurtured in our KII program.

Applicants must be five years of age as of September 1st of that year and will participate in a developmental screening process.

Grades 1 through 8

Follow a strong academic curriculum based on the Archdiocese of Boston in conjunction with the Massachusetts Curriculum frameworks. ICS seeks to guide the child to live as a creative, complete and caring person, and to share in his/her growth of faith in Christ.
